Francesca is an innovation economist and digital policy expert, working at the intersection of technology, geopolitics, economics and society. She has been advising the United Nations on Digital Cities and Digital Rights and is the former CTO of the City of Barcelona. She has been leading big European Research and Innovation projects related to digital sovereignty, digital democracy and crypto platforms. At Commons Network, Francesca will be advising our work on Digital Commons and Digital Public Infrastructures.
